'Rain of Joy' is the major theme name of Han's solo exhibition since 2015. He started this project to give an enjoyable shelter and a playground for people who need a pause in their life and give a powerful message about the origin of the warm love we forgot. It transformed in various forms in various exhibitions in various locations in the world, but mainly it showcases multiple new media artworks he created and it presents a media art performance. It gives you an immersive experience. He uses various forms of light including light fixtures, projection mapping, display screens, and it is precisely controlled in the order he created and programmed.

"Since I started the 'Rain of Joy' exhibition, in all the previous exhibitions, I remember that people often used to stay in the space for a really long time without doing anything and they told me they got positive energy to live. It is such an amazing experience because I feel I give them a priceless experience and I'm doing something right."

The exhibition 'Rain of Joy' is a delightful gift that is prepared for you and that is a visualized and a musicalized emotion he has in mind. Please visit "On The Fringe NYC" in Tribeca in New York City and don't miss the chance to experience it. It is a small exhibition but worth visiting.

"Ok, think about this. When is the last time you just sit and see falling raindrops for a long time? Doing nothing is seriously hard in the modern era. But you probably will realize in my exhibition, you are simply sitting and doing nothing while just watching falling raindrops and blinking lights, and listening to rain sounds. Like many previous visitors.
I hope my exhibition becomes a great turning point and a memorable exhibition for someone."

The Interpreter (2021)
The Orderly Objects for Communication

We encounter nature every day, but we do not know what even the slightest signs mean to us. There are many languages in the world and most of them are not understood. Even people who speak the same language often do not communicate well with each other.
Like a code breaker, the key is to find out the order of the speaking object and rearrange it according to that order. Nature is giving us many messages in many different ways, but we do not understand unless we know the way and order in which nature speaks to us. Otherwise, it is perceived as unintelligible chaos.

Rain, to artist, Han Lee, symbolizes the power of life. Each raindrop gives delightful joy to our life. It heals us, it makes us pause, and it brings back warm memories. We often forget that a tiny raindrop was once a part of the big ocean. Its purpose to fall from above and give life.

Rain is a main point in many of Han’s works. He uses lines to symbolize drops, and circles for ripples. A simple and aesthetically pleasing look. His work is often composed of rain sounds and visual effects, to counteract the cold synthetic feel of technology. His primary goal is for the audience to interact and carry a dialogue with his work. And this requires one thing: Immersion.
